1) Arrive at Leh airport 3505 meters / 11567 ft.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Take the first half of the day to rest and rejuvenate. 2) Leh-Sangham-Hall of fame-M.hill- Gurudwara ( Pather Sahib)
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Sangam View, where the mighty Indus and Zanskar rivers converge. You can choose to participate in a thrilling river rafting experience (at your own cost). Continue your journey to Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Later, drive back to visit the Spituk Monastery, home to the revered deity Kali Mata, known for fulfilling wishes. Explore the Hall of Fame, a war memorial museum. Overnight stay at your hotel in Leh. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.
3) Leh-Nubra valley (Via Khardongla Pass)
After a relaxing morning breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Nubra Valley, famously known as "The Valley of Flowers," via the magnificent Khardung La Pass, situated at an altitude of 18,300 feet. This pass is considered one of the highest motorable roads in the world, offering breathtaking views from its summit. From the top, you can witness the stunning panorama of the Indus valley and the seemingly endless peaks that surround it. Continuing our journey, we descend towards Hunder, passing through an area of rolling sand dunes. Here, you can catch sight of the unique double-humped camels and even take a camel safari (at your own cost). Enjoy a delightful dinner and spend the night in the picturesque Nubra Valley. 4) Hunder- Turtuk – Hunder
After breakfast, embark on a drive to Turtuk, a hidden gem that was opened for tourists in 2010. This village holds a significant historical and cultural value, as it was annexed by India after the 1971 war and is situated near the Line of Control (LOC). Turtuk is one of the few Balti villages in India and still retains a strong resemblance to mini-Pakistan, with its Muslim population and traditional way of life. As you explore the village, you will be captivated by its charm and authenticity. The villagers continue to use traditional stone-crafted utensils, adding to the unique cultural experience. Turtuk also offers breathtaking views of the picturesque Shyok Valley, and on clear days, you may catch a glimpse of the majestic K2 Mountain peak across the border in Pakistan. By evening, return to Hundar, reflecting on the memorable experiences of the day. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.
5) Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok
After breakfast, we will set off from the hotel and drive towards our next destination, Pangong Lake. Our route will take us through the scenic Shyok and Tangtse, finally reaching Spangmik (Pangong). Along the way, we will make a stop at Diskit Monastery, offering a chance to immerse ourselves in its spiritual aura. Continuing our journey, we will traverse the mesmerizing landscape, following the path alongside the Shyok River. The road will lead us up a mountain and eventually descend into the charming village of Shayok, providing picturesque vistas throughout. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the breathtaking Pangong Lake. Take your time to soak in the beauty of the lake and marvel at its majestic allure. Overnight accommodation will be provided in cozy cottages or camps, ensuring a comfortable stay amidst this serene environment. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.
6) Pangong lake – leh (Via Changla Pass)
Early in the morning, indulge in a photo session by the tranquil Pangong Lake. After a hearty breakfast, we will drive back to Leh, passing through the scenic Changla Pass. By noon, we will arrive in Leh. On the way, we will visit the renowned Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Gompa, and the esteemed Rencho School. Once in Leh, take some time to relax and unwind at the hotel. 7) Leh Departure
