Lakshadweep Islands.
A group of 36 small islands are collectively known as the Lakshadweep Islands. Tucked away at 240 km off the Malabar Coast.
this group of islands is blessed with white coral sands, crystal clear water and rich marine flora. Tourists can enjoy water sports like scuba diving and snorkeling in Lakshadweep Islands, in the Agatti Islands and the Bangaram Islands which are the only two islands that are open to public. Being a part of the underwater spectacle of natural coral reef, blue lagoons, delicate marine life is truly an enthralling experience.

How to reach?-
1) By Ship-
Seven passenger ships- MV Amindivi,MV Arabian Sea, MV Bharat Seema,MV Dweep Setu,MV Kavaratti,MV Lakshadweep Sea and MV Minicoy operate between Cochin and Lakshadweep. The passage takes between 14 to 20 hours. The ships offer different classes of accommodation; A/C Deluxe Class with two berth cabins, A/C First Class with four berth cabins and Tourist Class with A/C seating.
2) By Air-
Cochin International Airport links Lakshadweep with the mainland. Onward flights from Cochin are available to most of the airports in India and to selected foreign destinations. Agatti is the only airport in Lakshadweep. Helicopter transfer is available from Agatti to Kavaratti through out the year. The flight from Cochin to Agatti takes approximately one hour thirty minutes. Flights operate six days a week.
