In the heart of India, nearly 200 kms east of Bhopal lies Dhana, a faintly populated town in Sagar district. Home to an air strip that frequently hosts skydiving camps for adventure enthusiasts. The 4000 ft. jump might not give you much freefall time, but the experience of gazing over the vast emptiness of the landscape is worth the few minutes of unaided flight. India’s first skydiving camp conducted by Thrillsextreme was hosted in Dhana. Chimes Aviation Academy is also offering tandem jumps and static jumps at Dhana this year.

Adventure is a state of mind and nothing describes adventure better than Skydiving the mother of all adventure activities known to human. It’s an incredible and must have experience one must avail in his/her lifetime. Standing in the doorway of the plane one still feel grounded. Also, Indian Skydiving & Parachute Association (ISPA), is a non-profit organisation established in 2011 by a group of eminent skydivers, sports personalities and enthusiasts from various walks of life with an   aim to promote extreme adventure sport of Skydiving and Parachuting in all its forms, with a primary objective to avail these sports to common man with the most contemporary safety standards incorporated, which are today accessible only to elite section of our society.

1) By Air- The nearest airport to Dhana is the Khajuraho Airport, which is located at a distance of about 178kms. You can either hire a taxi or board a bus from the airport to reach Dhana.

 

2) By Road- Dhana is well connected to Sagar by road. You can board a state transport bus or hire a taxi to reach Dhana. Dhana is well connected with the the major cities of MP.

 

3) By Rail- Dhana is quite well connected to Sagar that is just about 18kms away. Sagar is further very well connected to all the major cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata.
