If you wanted to enjoy high altitude alpine meadows without having to trek for 2 to 3 days, Bhrigu Lake Trek in May is the perfect option for you. A trek which is an out and out grassland trek, is a real treat to the nature lovers. In the first 10 minutes of starting the trek from the Gulaba base camp, you will be greeted with the lush green alpine meadows all around you tempting you to walk barefoot in the cool dew beneath your feet. Gulaba makes the Bhrigu lake easily accessible and is only an hour drive from Manali. Who would have imagined that such pristine heavenly beauty is just around Manali.
These meadows stretches wide and far to as far as the eye can go, like an endless carpet of nature. You would find sheep grazing and horses galloping in your trail. All you would see is lush green landscape around you and deep blue sky above you. Can you ask for more? I do not think so. The overall view would be like a million dollar painting coming alive with you sitting on the grassy land surrounded by snowy peaks stretching to the horizon with a deep blue sky above you.
