Barog is just 60km from Chandigarh on the Kalka-Shimla highway at a good height of 6000 ft. Very good place for the weekend getaway from Delhi or Chandigarh. Overlooking the picturesque Solan valley the site is covered with beautiful pine trees. The scenery boasts of a curving railway track down below in the valley with the distant whistle of the seemingly toy train. View of kilometres of the road winding through distant mountains on one side compare beautifully with the untouched mountains on the other side. Barog is the one and only hill station in India with a registrered camping site which allows tourists to pitch up their own tents. Attractions Near by:

• KASAULI: 21 kms Manki Point-a historical Hanuman temple, A pleasant Tibetan market, A sanitorium on naturepathy and pine clad hills make it a favourite picnic spot.
• CHAIL: 54 kms The summer capital of the royal house of Patiala. The Chail Palace, the highest cricketing pitch are the major attractions. There is horse riding for the sportsman spirit and beginners

Day1

• Reaching camp site in Barog in the Morning (11:00 AM).
• Check in the Alpine Tents.
• Enjoy Lunch (Rice & Chappatis, Dal Seasonal vegetable, Paneer dish & Chicken with salad & fruit)
• Enjoy any one of Nature walk, Trekking, volleyball, Tug-of-war, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton.
• Enjoy the evening bon-fire .
• After bonfire enjoy the dinner (Rice & Chappatis, Dal Seasonal vegetable, Paneer dish & Chicken with salad with dessert)
• Overnight stay in the tents.

Day2

• After Morning Tea and Breakfast.
