At an altitude of 4267 mts, and spread of around 37 sqkms. is the mighty MILAM GLACIER. Surrounded by 52 high peaks this wonderful valley can be trekked from our resorts in 7 to 10 days through LILAM, BOGDIYAR Milam. The GORIGANGA river originates from the south of Milam Glacier.
     

Itinerary Details

Day01

Arrive at Kathgodam Railway Station. We take you to Munsiyari by Car. Reach Munsiyari at around 5 Pm. Overnight at RESORT - Munsiyari.    

Day02

Start trekking from Munsiyari. Munsiyari to Lilam Trek, 16km. Night halt at Lilam in tent house or Forest Rest House.    

Day03

Start trekking from Lilam to Bogdyar , 16km. Night halt at Bogdyar in tent house.    

Day04

leave from Bogdyar to Railkot , 12km.Night halt Railkot in tent house.    

Day05

Railkot to Milam Village Trek 15km. Overnight halt at Milam Village.    

Day06

Milam Village to The Glacier Trek 03km. Return. Milam Glacier to Milam Village Trek 03 km.Night halt at Milam Village.    

Day07

Milam Village to Burfu Village, Trek 08 km.Night halt at Burfu Village.    

Day08

Barfu Village to Bogdyar Trek 19km.Night halt.    

Day09

Bogdyar to Lilam Trek 16km.Night halt at Lilam.    

Day10

Lilam to Munsiyari Trek 16km.Night halt at Munsiyari. Trek ends here.
