Chadar Trek is well known as being a very unique winter journey and trip throughout Ladakh. It can be termed "Khadosanglam" throughout Zanskari vocabulary, the actual (Dakini Path) which people of Zanskar use as the last way to connect when there is no link with the outside world several weeks on a yearly basis following your routes stay shut down as a result of heavy snowfall. Chadar means sheets and is used to refer to the trek along the frozen Zanskar.

ITINERARY

Day 1, Saturday :

Report at Leh. Acclimatize and overnight at guest house.

Day 2, Sunday :

Drive From Leh to Tilat Sumdo camp.

Day 3, Monday :

Trek to ShingraKoma [9 km/6 hrs trek].

Day 4, Tuesday :

Trek to Dibb [14.5 km/8 hrs trek]

Day 5, Wednesday :

Trek to NaerakPullu [11.5 km/7 hrs trek]

Day 6, Thursday :

Trek from Naerak to Dibb.

Day 7, Friday :

Trek to ShingraKoma.

Day 8, Saturday :

Trek to TilatSumdo and drive back to Leh.

Day 9, Sunday :

Flight from Leh to Mumbai
