A land where there is a riot of colors and beauty, valley of flowers is the rarest of rare natural botanical garden in India guarded by snow clad mountains all around. Valley of Flowers Trek is generally the fist trek in everyone’s trek books. This picture perfect setting has tall cliffs climbing up to the sky on one side and snow covered mountains on the other with a serener river gliding through the middle of it.
What makes this trek even more special is that it is two in one that is Valley of Flower Hemkund Trek. The trek to Hemkund Sahib is an exhilarating climb that welcomes you with an alpine lake at an altitude of 14,300 feet. The fact that such a clear water lake is present at such altitude is something of a shocker but this is something that can not be missed at any cost. If you are still craving for more, than the langar meal at the Gurudwara would satisfy all your desires and the trek would be become a once in a lifetime experience for you.

The best time to take up this trek is July and August when flowers are in its full blossom and the beauty of the valley at its full peak.
