A Glance at Dudhsagar (Goa) - As the name goes, Dudhsagar (Sea of Milk) attracts many travelers each year. Perched at a high peak, the jungle trek towards this majestic waterfall is a sight to behold. Since, railway route is the only way to explore this four tier waterfall, travel fanatics never misses a chance to visit Dudhsagar during monsoon each year. Right from the train journey, pitch dark tunnels and roaring sound, each and every bit is a blissful experience at Dudhsagar.
Meet “The JOG falls” (Karnataka) – Jog Waterfalls proudly owns the title of India’s second highest water plunge. Jog Falls are exceptional as the water does not flow down the rocks in a tiered fashion; it gushes down the slope right from the great height making it the tallest un-tiered waterfall in India. The splendor of the waterfalls is enhanced by the lush green surroundings, which provide a scenic backdrop. Be ready to take a hike till the base of the falls and can take a dip in the water.
Hidden Teasure Tamdi Surla (Goa) – Unlike the other two, Tamdi surla is not that popular or known to many. Tucked away from city hustle, this hidden secret is still a mystery to many travelers and trekkers. Walk through multiple river streams and jungle route to witness these waterfalls. Jump, splash and have immense fun as it embraces you to deliver surreal bliss. At the base, Tamdi Surla Temple is devoted to Lord Shiva, take a short halt here to view the picturesque backdrop.
