If you want to view some of the most majestic peaks in the Indian Himalayas and want to do so at a close distance then Kuari Pass is probably one of the treks that should be on your bucket list. The discovery of this pass was probably one of the highlights of Lord Curzons career in India, and is popularly also known as the lord Curzon trail.
Nanda devi, Dronagiri, Chaukhamba, Neelkanth, Kamet, Mana, Hathi Ghoda are some of the peaks which form the amphitheater in this trek. Also on this trek one walks through gorgeous jungles of Oak and Deodar trees. And these jungles, of course, are house to some wildlife. Pug marks of leopards or Himalayan black bears can be sighted in the forests.
The trek is not too demanding in nature and although the temperature in winter makes things a little difficult the rewards in terms of views more than make up for all the hardships
