Situated deep inside the Gangotri national park and probably the best peak to experience the thrill of summiting for new comers is Mt Rudugaira. The peak lies on the route between Gangotri and Kedarnath and offers stunning view of Gangotri massif, Thalaysagar and Auden’s Col. The trek offers stunning vistas and challenging terrain and is a visual delight for everyone alike.

Day 1 : Team Assembles at Uttarkashi
Day 2 : Uttarkashi to Gangotri
Day 3 : Gangotri to Nala Camp
Day 4 : Nala camp to Rudugaira B.C
Day 5-9 : Reserved for climbing
Day 10 : Return back to Gangotri
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival at Uttarkashi : The team arrives at Uttarkashi, the main center for mountaineering in Garhwal Himalayas, we bond over dinner and go through briefings. The rest of the evening is free for you to explore the town. Individual equipment is issued on arrival, Overnight stay in hotel. Meal plan: Welcome drink and dinner
Day 2 : Uttarkashi to Gangotri (3048 m/ 10,000 ft) by road (98kms) : Post breakfast we move towards Gangotri via Harsil which is the road head for our expedition. The duration of road journey is around 4 hours, overnight stay in hotel, Meal Plan: Breakfast and dinner
Day 03 : Gangotri – Nala Camp (8 km Trek 5 – 6hrs trek) : We start our trek on the left bank of the river and it is a continuous walk up till the Nala campsite on our left we have the Rudraganga giving us company throughout the hike. One can view the Jogin and kedartal range today. From today onwards all accommodation is tented and all meals are included in the expedition plan
Day 04 : Nala Camp to Rudugaira Base Camp (7 km -5 hrs trek) : Today we have a strenuous day as we climb up the ridge and keep on ascending till we reach the basecamp. It is a long day but we get rewarded with beautiful views of the mountains surrounding us and Auden’s col
Day 05-09-- : Reserved for climbing : we plan our summit and climb the mountain through multiple load ferries to aid in acclimatization. The summit attempt would be done at night depending on the weather condition. We have reserve summit days in case of bad weather.
Day 10 : Base camp – Gangotri : Post breakfast make a speedy descent down to Gangotri where we hope to reach by afternoon. In the evening we share experiences and stories and collect issued equipment.
Day 11 : Departure from Gangotri : Expedition breaks post breakfast
