Tara Devi Temple is located on Tarav Parvat about 8 Km from Shimla on Kalka- Shimla National Highway. Trek starts from Taradevi Railway station on Shimla-Kalka Narrow Gauge railway line, First few Kms we walk along the world heritage Railway line. We also cross few tunnels first one being the longest around 1km. As we cross the first tunnel we enter into a different world which has dense forest & its quite unlike the other side of the tunnel. After trekking 2-3 kms on the railway line we start ascending to the hilltop towards the right. During the trek we get to see the famous Shiva temple and views of Shimla town thought the woods. If lucky we will also spot the train passing by.

Day 1 : Arrival in Shimla >> TaraDevi Railway Station (7 km) >> TaraDevi Hill Top (4 km)
Day 2 : TaraDevi Hill Top >> TaraDevi Railway Station(4 km) >> Shimla (7 Km) >> Departure to Delhi
Highlight of the trek is the mesmerizing Night View of Shimla Town from the Campsite.

- Trek starts at around 11am After Breakfast

- Dinner + Bonfire at TaraDevi hill top
- Camping under the Stars at TaraDevi Hill Top
Day 2 :
- Morning Photography + Visit to the Temple
- Trek Back to Shimla + Lunch
- Enjoy a stroll at Shimla Mall Road
- Departure to Dellhi, Volvo Starts at 9 PM
