Rajmachi Monsoon Trek

Rajmachi trek is counted as one of the most exciting and endurance testing treks. In this trek you are not required to gain lot of height by you have to walk about 16Km one way.

This route in monsoon season is truly exciting. You get to see streams, waterfalls, lush green paddy field on the way. Hundreds of crabs cross your path on the way. If you are walking near dusk or dawn time then you can see lot of fireflies twinkling around you. While you sleep in a village house rains drops creates a thundering noise on the roof.

Overall Rajmachi trek experience is unique and unforgettable.

SCHEDULE OF THE TREK
Meeting Time and Place	Pune railway station under main clock at 5:45 a.m. Sharp.
Itinerary	Day 1: > Take 6.10am local to Lonavala > Reach Lonavala by 8am > Have breakfast in Lonavala and start the trek > Have packed lunch on the route. > Reach Rajmachi (after approx 4-5 Hrs of walk) and stay in local house . > Have Pithla-bhakri for dinner and go to sleep Day 2: > Visit Sriwardhan and Manoranjan forts > After lunch start return journey to Lonavala > Back to Lonavala around 6.30pm and take next available local train back to Pune > Back to Pune around by 9.00 p.m.

What to bring	Luggage packed in big good trekking sack, All luggage wrapped in plastic bags to avoid getting wet (compulsory) Complete spare set of clothes & socks Water bottle (atleast 1.5 ltr) compulsory Electral/ Glucon-d energizers and personal medication A sweater/warm wear Good trekking shoes (sandles, chappals, floaters not permitted) A sleeping bag / Thermocol mat and shawl / normal satranji and shawl Plate, spoon, mug (Compulsory) Torch with Extra pair of Batteries Camera, Binocular (Optional)
