Day 2 : Aru Valley to Lidderwat
We will proceed from the Aru Valley on foot along a trail that follows alongside the River Lidder and opens into the lush green meadows of the Lidderwat Valley. It is an excellent campsite for overnight camping. Here we shall spend six to seven hours soaking in the greenery. Since we have so much time at our disposal, we can even set up a campfire in the later hours of the evening.
Day 3 : Lidderwat Valley to Seikiwais
Today’s climb is a steep one involving a lot of ascending. We first head to Hamwais, where we will cross the river. While crossing, we will battle another steep ascent to reach Seikiwais – a beautiful meadow base-camp. The track has numerous clear streams providing drinking water. The Seikiwais is one of the best campsites of the entire trek. Here we will have a relaxed night after the long, stressful climb.

Once again, we ascend to reach the Tarsar Lake. The view along the way is beautiful, full of numerous wild flowers. We will stop here for three to four hours to relax in the shade of the surrounding Alpine tress and breathe in some of those heady fragrances.
