Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival and Check In to the Camp Site - Desert Safari
Lunch at Camp Relax Village welcome by Community Learn about the customs, culture and traditions of the community Depart for the Desert Safari in Forest escorted by the experts. Get a chance to explore Wild Ass (the only habitat in Asia), Desert fox, Interesting Birds, etc. It is equally exciting to see the sun set in Rann. Dinner at Campsite Night Walk, Star gazing and Campfire Unite with friends and family.
Day 2 : Eco Friendly Forest Safari - Vist Salt Pans
Breakfast Depart for the Morning Eco Friendly Forest Safari escorted by the locals. This will be a walking safari assisted by locals who will share their knowledge about the forest. Visit to the Salt Pans Meet Salt Pan Workers Agariyas. Interact with them and learn why they are in this profession, challenges they face, their daily chores, etc Involve into the sweat braking activity of ploughing salt. (All participants must carry a pair of sleeper) This is going to be daylong exercise. The objective of this activity is to learn the hardships of the Agariyas and the science of making Salt. In the process you will give Service to the Agariya Family since this action (man hour work) will enhance their livelihood. This activity will also help you in identifying challenges faced by salt pan workers and hence suggest action to resolve these challenges. Lunch Volunteer at Village School to educate children of Agariyas. Teach some basic English words and sentences. Donate used books or aid for education. Back to Campsite Dinner at campsite Campfire: Brain Storming Session among group members for working out Action to help Agariyas.
Day 3 : Visit Local handicraft making locals- Departure
Breakfast at Camp Learn local embroidery creatively made by hand stitching glass and beeds on the cloth from local woman. In the process preserve the local handicraft. Recommend them on the Actions that could be taken to promote their handicraft. Here, students will have to be very committed in promoting and generating demand for handicraft of these woman craftsmen at least in their own City. Lunch at Campsite Say Good Bye to the Village Community & Depart
