Night Trek to Garbett Point | Matheran Hills Stations

Matheran is one of the most beautiful hill stations in Maharashtra. The hill station was discovered by Hugh Poyntz Malet in 1850 and is located at about 2625 feet above Sea level. The location of Matheran is cover with forest and amazing bio-diversity area. Garbett village and Garbett plateau is one of the less known destination among tourist who visit this Hill station.

ITINERARY

Catch Karjat fast local departing from CST by 9:26 pm & reach Bhivpuri Station by 11:10 pm. Meet our outing leader and enjoy the get to know each other session. Start night trekking to Garbett Point. Reach at top by 4 am. Rest for few hours. Enjoy the scenic views from the Garbett plateau after sunrise. Leave for Dasturi Naka, Matheran by 7:30 am. Have breakfast & proceed back to Neral station.

4. Good grip quality trekking shoes – Must (Please check soles of your shoes and get them stitched if necessary).
5. Personal Medication / First Aid kit
6. Toiletries (Napkin, facewash, tissue paper etc.).
7. Cap, goggles, sunscreen, moisturizer, mosquito repellent etc. (as per season)
8. Proper Backpack to carry all these things (No handbags, duffle bag or jholas)

10. Rainwear (Jacket / Ponchos ) or Winter wear (Jackets, warmers or sweaters) – (as per season).
