Triund is one of the most popular trekking destinations located in the Dhauladhar ranges of Himachal Pradesh. The hill is perched at a height of 2875m above sea level and offers a near perfect view of the Dhauladhar Mountains on one side and the Kangra Valley on the other. Most trekkers find the view from of Triund Hill to be awe-inspiring and exhilarating and one that leaves a lasting impression on them.
Even though Triund is considered to be a relatively easy destination to trek to, the participants feel exasperated by the last one kilometer of the trail. This is because of the 22 tiring curves that the trekkers need to navigate before they reach Triund. However, the amazing view that awaits them at the top is definitely worth the effort.
Having reached the top of Triund Hill, the participants spend the night camping there and are greeted by the mesmerizing view of the rising sun in the morning. This amazing experience proves to be a bonus reward for the participants and makes them undertake the trip repeatedly to relive the same.
