DAY 1 : GUWAHATI ARRIVAL
Arrive at Guwahati airport (25 km), received and transferred to hotel. After refreshment visit Balaji Mandir and also visit Shankardeva Kalakhetra. Overnight at Guwahati.
DAY 2 GUWAHATI – CHERRAPUNJEE
After an early breakfast, will go for a day long excursion to Cherrapunjee (65 km) – the wettest place in the world. At Cherrapunjee enjoy the numerous waterfalls like Nohkalikai falls,Mawsmai falls, Dainthelen Falls and also experience the adventure of caving at Mawsmai cave. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.
DAY 3 : CHERRAPUNJEE – MAWLYNNONG –SHILLONG
Today morning drive to visit Mawlynnong (65km) – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Evening drive back to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.
DAY 4 : SHILLONG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Today full day sightseeing in Shillong. Visit- Cathedral Mary church, Wards Lake, Elephant falls and Shillong Peak – to have a bird eye view of the Shillong city. After lunch visit Don Bosco Museum. Evening free for shopping at Police bazaar. Overnight at Shillong.
DAY 5 : SHILLONG-KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Today morning drive to proceed to Kaziranga National Park (288km) – a World Heritage Site and Tiger Reserve, covering an area of 430 Sq km. It is the home to more than 80% of world’s Rhino population. Enroute you will visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umium Lake – you can opt for some thrilling water sports in the lake. Overnight at Kaziranga
DAY 6 : JUNGLE ACTIVITY AT KAZIRANGA
Early morning Elephant ride (5.30-6.30 a.m. /6.30 -7.30 a.m.) in the Central / western range of the park. Back to resort for breakfast enjoy an exclusive Jeep safari in the Western / central range (2.30 p.m.onwards) of the park - ideal for grassland and big game like One Horned Rhinoceros and Water Buffaloes. Back to the resort and check out from Hotel. and proceed to Guwahati Overnight at Guwahati . Note: Kaziranga National Park is officially open from 1st Nov to 31st April.
DAY 7 : GUWAHATI – DEPARTURE
