It is near outskirts of New Mumbai and one of the best place for waders and raptors. It is a mixture of grasslands and wetlands and hence we can see variety of Water birds and raptors. Also Shorteared Owl is one of the major attraction atUran (difficult to sight in groups) It is one of most famous destination for birding among birdwatchers. Many a times we have also spotted jackals which are residence of this place.
Things To follow on nature trails:
Outing Schedule :
All the travellers will be meeting at Dadar station at 6.00am, from there we will move towards Uran by private transport . Trail will start around 7.30 am with the sunrise. We will try to spot maximum number of species. There will be a short session of “How to Identify Birds”. It will help everyone to start with the beautiful trail. Trail ends around 11.30am and we will move towards Dadar. Later everyone disperse for their respective location.
NOTE: One should follow the rules and regulations given by the Expert and should not leave the group till the nature trail ends.
